Sometimes, in order to prepare a surface for painting, pressure-washing and air blasting are not enough. To remove rust, grease, badly peeling paint or other set-in grime, it may be necessary to use sandblasting to scour and polish away the damaged layers to leave a smooth, clean substrate underneath, ready to be painted. We will discuss with you whether sandblasting would be necessary to prepare your structure for painting; you can rely on our expert advice.
We use the same diesel compressor and gun that are used for air blasting, but configured to accept the fitted sandblasting pot. These will be transported to your property like all the tools and equipment Empire will use to complete our job for you. Our Biljax (™) Lifts are also available, with a reach of 45 feet and 55 feet, to complete the cleaning of even the most out-of-the-way corners.
